LAVA TUBES ROVER

Objective: To develop a remotely controlled robotic rover capable of exploring up to a distance of a few miles on rugged lava flow terrain and inside lava tube systems.  Malpais National Monument in western New Mexico is the proposed test site.

Mars Society Mall Exhibit

It has been proposed that the Mars Society of Houston team up with the National Space Society to create a Mars/NSS exhibit which could travel to malls in the area and recruit new members.  This exhibit would have to be interactive and "enhance the mall-going experience".
